Parshas Nitzavim
"Different people are telling me different things: Who really has my best interests in mind?" "Your father was one of the people who advised you, and you're asking who put your interests above everything else??" When G-d told us we can follow His commandments or not, (all of our actions have consequences, but we do have "free will") He then said "and you shall choose life in order that you and your children shall live." (Divorim 30:20) Rashi comments "Like a father saying to his son 'choose the good portion of my property' and then shows him which is the best part. G-d loves us more than a parent and wants us to succeed (and knows what is really best for us). You wouldn't want to disappoint your father, would you ??? Have a great Shabbos !! Yes we must choose life and comply all 613 Miztvot. But As Cain Killed Habel, the sin and death has taken place and spread all dimension. we have to fight to regain the door to G-d´s (Of divine name) light and be clean and pure for divine blessing which might mean receiving Kabbalah. Lej Leshalom |
