Parshas Terumah

"I wouldn't stay there. It may look nice on the outside, but what goes
on inside isn't for me."

The "Shla", Rav Yeshaya Horowitz zt"l, writes in Yoma paragraph 189
"The major dwelling place of the Divine Presence is in the heart of the
Jews, as it is written 'I will dwell in their midst' (Shemos 25:8--see
commentaries for explanation)...Therefore one should sanctify his thoughts,
words, and actions..."

Is your home ready for the Royal Guest?

Have a great Shabbos !!

Tzivy

Dear Tzivy,
The Torah says " make a Mikdash (Sanctuary)for Me,and I will dwell amongst THEM". It should have said "I will dwell in IT". Therefore, there are some approaches that say all future shuls are alluded to here. There is also the approach that I mentioned, that it is referring to the people.
Take care and good Shabbos.
Rabbi Flom
