In parshas va'eira and elswhere we see staffs turned into snake-like things of various form.

Back by the Burning Bush incident, Hashem turned Moshe's staff into a nachash. According to the midrash, this was Adam Harishon's staff which was passed down through the avos to Yoseif, from whom Yisro got it, until Moshe came along.

Perhaps Moshe left Egypt with a different staff?

Surely when Aharon left Egypt and was coming to meet Moshe, if he had a staff, it was a different one.

A staff was used for the miraculous signs, if necessary, to be performed apparently by Aharon for Moshe, following Moshe's statement that he was heavy of speech, however we should translate k'vad peh.

A staff was used for the incident in our parsha, before Pharoah, shortly after Moshe says he has blocked lips, where whatever Aharon's staff turned into - tanim - ate up whatever Pharoah's magicians turned their staffs into.

By the Nile we have Moshe commanded within a doubly nested quote to tell Aharon to wave "your" staff.

And in a future parsha we shall read about Aharon's staff sprouting Almond blossoms, to be kept away as a future reminder.

And there will also be some usages of a staff to bring water from the well. Rashi there will tell us that the staff had been used for plagues, but here it will be seen bringing good things. But also there it seems that Rashi will explain that it was the staff which you [Moshe] used to strike the Nile... in slight conflict with his comment in our parsha explaining why Moshe himself did not strike the Nile.

Particularly for the 10 plagues, I would be interested in seeing a comprehensive detail of which staff (by who's original ownership) was used by whom at which time.

It doesn't seem that Rashi was concerned by this that he clarified these matters for us.

Has this matter been addressed anywhere you've seen?

Perhaps, you meant "Va'eira" instead of "Vayeira"?
