"How could you say to her 'Isn't it a great day!!': Her mother is in
very bad shape in the hospital ??"
"You should have told me BEFORE I went to see her.!!"

Before Yaacov went to meet Lavan, he asked the shepherds about Lavan's
wellbeing. (Biraishis 29:6) The Seforno explains that Yaacov wanted to greet
Lavan appropriately.

THINK : If you're not always in the same mood, why assume others are?
