May you and your family be comforted amongst the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
My Grandfather died of similiar causes last December at age 95, and it is truly upsetting having such people, with such memories, insight and experiences, to leave our world. With sincere condolences Dovi |

I am sorry for your loss; may you and your family be comforted and have arichas yomim - length of days.
It is good that you told us this information. Many times someone asks that Tehillim be recited for a sick person without later advising people that the person either got better or perhaps died. There is a story told of, I believe, Rav Shach z"tl, who was asked to daven for a young child. Many years later he met the father and asked after the child. The father told him that he had got better soon after he saw Rav Shach. Rav Shach replied, "Why didn't you tell me? I have been praying for him all these years!" |
