Have you checked the genealogical line further down if your grandmother from your mother's side was Jewish too?

Halevai, that that is a picture of me! A bracha? Then I'll answer "Amen!" to it.

The picture is of the Late Rabbi Avigdor Miller of blessed memory, a Gadol, a Talmid Chochom, one of the great leaders of todays generation; and I try to follow his teachings and way of life to some extent. (Perhaps a thread just for the teachings of Rabbi Miller would be something.)

As for the picture, yea, I added it to the photo album.

Shalom Anderson,
I didn't notice any "E.Z." where would I see it? In your profile? If your mother's mother IS Jewish than you are 100 percent Jewish - and that, if possible, can be determined through research.

Shalom Anderson,

Unfortunately you should know that according to Jewish Law having a Jewish father and a non-Jewish mother makes you 100% not Jewish and you would need the same process of conversion as one whose parents were both non-Jewish. [Can one say about a woman that she is half pregnant?] Do you need help in finding a Local Orthodox Rabbi?

I can't tell you what to do, but you would need to be near a Rabbi for anything to happen.

Sam's right. Any Rabbinical Court (Beis Din) supervising a conversion would require the person to actually live in or very near an Orthodox community to get practical experience of what it is to be an Orthodox Jew.

Shalom Anderson, I did some research online and came up with this information, it comes from a cached google website and when I click on the link it says it is not available. So let me know if this actually has helped you in any way.
