Next year on Chaf Adar we will be celebreting the completion of the Shas in the Daf Yomi program. I was wondering if anyone is interested in travling to Poland and celeberating the siyum in the Yeshivat Chochmei Lublin, the yeshiva founded by Rabbi Meir Shapiro. The day later is Chaf Aleph Adar the yahrtziet of Rebbi Elimelech of Lezhansk, located about 40 miles away. The oportunity is there to be i Poland for both occasions in one trip.
I am willing to start the process of setting up the trip if people are i terested. Seven years ago at the last siyum there was a small group of aboout ten people that made the trip including Rabbi Caskel Besser, the former international head of the Daf Yomi program for Agudat Yisrael.

Why the love affair with Europe?? Understanding that Rav Shapiro founded daf yomi, I don't see anything holy about having the siyum in Lublin. Having the siyum in Yerushalayim or Tzfat would be more appropriate. The zechut is larger.
