"We do not assume that the holy Jewish people have committed sins of being over on positive and negative commandments, but rather we need to be worried about the sins that prevent us from being completely clean on the day of judgment" (Foundation and Root of Divine Service)
Here are some of the sins which are listed there: Saying the blessings after bread without paying attention Saying the shema without paying attention Praying without paying attention Blessing on mitvoth and pleasures without paying attention Skipping blessings completely Not having gratitude during a blessing Doing mitvos out of pure habit Saying the blessing after the bathroom without paying attention Saying G-d's name without paying attention Not answering Amen Not learning Torah and wasting time Chazal tells us that many of these simple sins which we trample over on a day to day basis have some very heavy punishments. One thing for sure, is that we don't need to look too far to find some things to work on before the frightening and awesome Day of Judgment. Application: Choose one type of bracha that you are going to say with great intention. Pause for a moment before you say the name of G-d in a bracha. This message has been edited. Is there just one big day of judgement, or one day set aside for each individual person?

Everyone in the whole world (Jews and non-Jews) is judged on Rosh Hashana.
