Since when have we taken cues from other organizations besides the Jewish community? The last I heard, Assembly of God church and Messianic Jews do not represent any form of authority in Jewish Orthodoxy, moreover, they are typically staunchly against some of our most holy tenets! Can one be an Orthodox Jew and NOT believe the Shema? G-d forbid.
