This is more of a theoretical question - If it rains so much in Israel that it is bad for Israel, would we stop saying vetein tal umatar? Why or why not?

I would assume that we would still say it and it is still applicable because the prayer is 'vetein tal umatar livracha' - we should be given rain for a blessing.
Not that this comes from any source - just my own understanding ;0) This message has been edited. Last edited by: Gila, Comments, questions or suggestions for the Global Yeshiva? Please send me a private message. |
