A great number of Orthodox and COnservative Jews (and others) worldwide will be holding a fast from thursday at sundown to Friday at sundown. Please fast only if you are in good helth--otherwise give up something that does not have to do with food in order to honour the L-rd during this time of crisis in the Holy Eretz Yisrael. We are remembering the families of those in Yisrael whose sons and daughters have fallen during this war that HaSh-m will give them comfort and peace and also for the Peace of Yisrael. May it be HaSh-m's will tha tthe war not continue even one day longer than necessary to protect our homeland. For those who cannot fast--PLEASE join us in collective prayer. Please encourage others to remember Yisael during this time as well.

Furthermore, we must certainly backed any of the action mentioned in your message. Particularly, the Chief Rabbinatte of Israel scheduled a mass pray a few weeks ago I printed out the two prays " He who blessed for the IDF Soldiers" and " A Prayer for the well being of the kidnapped Soldiers" composed by Rabbi Yona Metzger, in order to remember them along with the every day Shemone Esrei tefila. The Chabad web site surely recomends all jew living in golá to do several action in favor of those IDF soldier and civilian jew affected by the rockets. that is 1. Pray, 2. Good Actions that would help bring H-sm Baruj hu protection to our fellow jew people in Eretz Israel, 3. Tzedaka, yes give charity to Israeli Foundations helping jew families which needed to leave their homes due to Hezhbolla rocket attacks.
