When a person eats or drinks he says a bracha, when someone owns an animal your supposed to take care of the animal as if it were yourself so do you need to say anything when giving your animal food and drink.
and is ther anything to say for a sick animal
and so on and so forth

My friend,

The Sages (hachomim) gave the format that we make use of in our blessings, but they did not enact a blessing (beracha) when giving food to an animal. Even so, the Rabbis have a practice of saying ורחמיו על כל מעשיו whenever referring to an animal/animals. (This can be translated: "And His mercies are upon all His creations.")

Indeed, we learn elsewhere (Shabbat 128b): "The suffering of animals is a thing prohibited in the Law."
צער בעלי חיים דאורייתא.
(שבת קכ"ח, ב)

The Rabbis learned this matter from the Torah, itself. (Shemos 23:5) "When you see your enemy's donkey (חמור שנאך) lying down beneath its [heavy] burden, forsake what you presently might have against him in your heart, and assist him [in unloading the beast]." (Onkelos)

Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov interpreted this verse as symbolically refering to one's body.

What I find interesting is why the message was posted anonymously. Is the poster ashamed of what people might think if they knew he/she owned an animal?

This is only a creative reading, just to bring out a point. He did not mean to obliterate the Mitzvah as it's written and is brought in Shas (2nd Perek of BM) and Poskim.

Ashamed no not one bit i just didnt think it was a good question ive had animals for a couple of yrs and i was just wondering if you should say something when feeding or giveing them water,
And i was also wondering if there was anything to say if your animal is sick

The reason i ask about if your supposed to say something if your animal is sick is because when a human is sick you pray for him to get better so shouldnt ppl do it for there animals since your supposed to take care of your animal like you do yourself
hashem put humans and animals on this earth together the only difference he gave to humans is they can ask for things, so shouldnt we pray for the animals

Think again about what you said above.

About the question, I thought it was fine. And, as I love animals, I thought it was a kind thing.

OK, it's just that we own a dog, something that I'm not ashamed of.

I don't think there is any specific prayer for sick animals, as there is for humans. That's not to say that one may not pray to Hashem to make the animal well, just as one may pray to Hashem for (say) one's material wellbeing. If I am wrong, perhaps someone who knows about these things could correct me.

The meaning for what i said about humans can ask, is hashem gave us the mind that we can ask him for whatever we need but didnt give that to animals
