I would very much like to learn Hebrew - I want to be able to read and speak Hebrew. I have seen many types of software on the market all claiming to be great - I am looking for in-put from others. I appreciate your help - Thank You

I recommend http://www.learnhebrewisrael.com/ Rabbi Gold is a close friend of mine and has produced an excellent product.

If not now, when?

I just ordered the Learn Hebrew set referred to by Rabbi Mitterhoff. My initial review is that this is a fantastic product. The lesson plans are in very clear format and the hand-outs excellent for review.

As long as we're on the subject, could anyone recommend a program for teaching Hebrew to children? And, I remember learning about Jewish History with the children's book series "Heroes of Jewish History" and "Highlights of Jewish History." I still have some of the books, but not all. Does anyone have an idea where I could find more? (They are out of print.) Thanks.

There are many Jewish history books out there. Are you looking for publishers of History books and recommendations or where you can purchase more of the series that you mention?

Then I take it that it is O.K. in Judaism to love things? For some reason I thought that you are only allowed to love G-d and people, and everything else you like. I never say I love things, I like them but I don't "love" them. Are there different levels of love in Judaism? Of course, you're going to love G-d the most, but why say you Love Hashem and you love things? Shouldn't we differentiate our language more? Perhaps there is more of a differentiation in Hebrew?
