A person who fell to this yetzar hara (masturbation)should follow the various advices given by Chazal (Ex. – mikva or 9 kavim in the shower, Tikkun klali, learning Torah, purifying one’s thoughts, speech, and sights, etc.)

Can someone explain how to do the 9 kavim in the shower? hot water or cold water, is ther something you have to say? please explain thank you.

And can you do the 9 kavim in the shower even if nothing happened just to cleanse your neshama ?

And can you take a normal shower right after or do you have to leave the shower and go back in?

Can someone please answer these questions Thank You.

The Yetzer Hara is indeed very strong. If you have a serious problem which prevents you a normal sexual life, you should consult a doctor or a kinesiotherapist.
If it is not that serious, no amount of kavim will help, and all the other "tricks" you mention will only make things worse because the yetzer hara knows stronger and better tricks, and that will only give it more power over you. I suggest to you, instead, to go for walks in nature and admire God's creation, to occupy your time in studying whatever topic interests you (refrain from "exciting" books and novels)and doing things which elevate the soul (conferences, sciences, art, whatever you enjoy, and chose good and happy company - don't stay alone).
That is the best advice you will ever get. Try it!

I am not a Rabbi, but my understanding is that a regular shower will fulfill 9 kavim. Perhaps one of the Rabbis that frequent this website can confirm this.

Also, if you live in a community where people are accustom to going to the mikva, you may want to consider taking on a custom of going to the mikva on Erev Shabbos as well(assuming that it doesn't create any hardships on you).
