I am preparing tongue for shabbos, when I realize that after I peel off the skin, there are tons and I mean tons of red blotches all over the tongue. After furth inspection, I realized that there were tiny little hole in the skin of the tongue. Now it looks like this was happening while the animal was still alive because of the noticble swelling on the tongue below the skin...is this a kosher tongue? I mean im too digusted to actually eat it, but in theory is it kosher?

P.S...The tongue was packaged by a very strictly kosher comppany

Pierced tongues do not render an animal traifa. (If it would, we wouldn't have a lot of humans piercing their tongues )
