Shalom!

Children under the age of nine do not fast and should be given regular meals. Children older than nine are encouraged to eat less than usual during Yom Kippur and Tisha Be'Av, but not to fast the entire 24 hours.

Males at 13 years or older and females at 12 years or older are obligated to fast the entire day.

Best regards, Lev
