Question:
B"H
Which of the two, in your opinion, is the lesser of the two evils?

Choices:
To eat pig in order to preserve one's own life.
To eat human flesh in order to preserve one's own life.

David Ben-Avraham, once you put it like that, it of course sounds absurd to rather eat human flesh. However, solid halocha isn't really dependant on public opinion polls.

Of course, if I ate human flesh, I'll throw it up, so I'll die if I don't eat the pig anyway.......

B"H

Dovi,

Look at my last post on the thread, "Survival in the Wilderness."

As for the halacha, I wasn't asking for halachic reasons. They will come from other Rabbis. I was only looking for each man's personal opinion & inclination.

Why didn't you vote?

Sincerely,
David
